Spring Cleaning

Last summer, Ben blogged about the friend he found in his keyboard.

Since then, I’ve been procrastinating about cleaning my keyboard, and tonight, eventually got around to it; I spent the last two hours prising keys off my keyboard, cleaning them, then fitting it all back together - the perfect geek jigsaw. (I only had to refer to my photo of what the complete keyboard should look like once in the process, too.)

Messy keys!  Before cleaning  Before cleaning close-up
Cleaning the keys  Muck from keyboard base, with paperclip for size comparison  Geek jigsaw!

…and that, kids, is why you should clean a white keyboard more than once in every 14 months.
