“Your [sic] Boring Now”

According to an email I got today, I’m (or my blog is, at least) boring. I used to be interesting, but then I started writing about politics.

Sorry.

I’d write about everything I’ve been doing, but I’m not sure how interesting that would be either: an essay about the theories of Susan Sontag and Roland Barthes, compiling research sketchbooks, producing a gallery proposal and doing feminist and political stuff within my Union and out at conferences and dayschools in London and Sheffield.
I’ve been thinking about personal stuff, politics, and writing about photography writing. I find that as much as I want to talk about the personal things, I have little desire to write about them, so that leaves me with the photography or the politics and I’m working on the basis that the latter affects people more so it’s going to be more interesting. Am I wrong? Well, it sounds like it.

It seems I’ve amused someone, though; an IM I got earlier commented that my writings have skewed somewhat from trains to sex.
